FINAL FOUR IN SOPRON
Sopron (Hungary) hosts for the second consecutive year during this weekend (12-14 April) the Final Four of the Euroleague Women 2019, being one of the star moments of the year of the Euroleague Women.
Since its creation back in 1959, it is the main European competition for Women’s Basketball Clubs. As a curiosity, for the first time in 8 years there will not be a Turkish team and with the exception of the local ones, the other 3 teams won the title in previous seasons. Last year the champion was UMMC Ekaterinburg.
On Friday, April 12, the semifinals will be played, which will measure Sopron (host) against UMMC Ekaterinburg (current champion) (8:00 p.m. Spanish) and Dynamo Kursk against USK Prague (5:00 p.m. Spanish).
On Sunday 14 at 5:00 p.m. the match for 3rd place and at 8:30 p.m. the grand final will be played.
